  2. There are more poor whites than blacks in the USA. They're just more spread out and a smaller fraction of whites than the fraction of blacks who are poor. But really, we've been interbreeding in the USA for centuries, now, and the IDEA of 'black' and 'white' is obsolete.

  5. @MacTehKnife : I paid off most of MY debt, making only $30,000/yr. It sucked not being able to afford to start a family or buy a home, but I chose to take a job in the mountains for low pay and great fishing out my back door and great skiing a half-hour drive away. My choice. My debt. My responsibility. People whining about their student debt don't DESERVE college degrees.

  6.  J Leicht  : They live day-to-day. They don't have pantries stuffed with canned goods or freezers full of food, like regular folks. This is what happens when your only goal is to support poverty, rather than teaching then how to NOT be poor.

  7.  Magnum Mountaineer  : I think her puppet masters have switched to the DNC establishment. Her deal got started by a small group of progressives, who held auditions and she won the role. Since then, she's veered to the establishment left, in order to survive and get re-elected. Let's hope it doesn't work. Sadly, the main competition she has is sonneone even more progressive than she is! That woman will get elected and within 1 1/2 years, she will be captured by the establishment, just as AOC has.
