  1. It's just sad that 44% of people think the legacy media are doing a pretty good job. That's less than 50%, but still WAY TOO CLOSE to 50% for MY comfort! But I guess I see and deal with such people every day. Some of them I consider friends and colleagues. But when it comes to matters of politics and political economy, I feel at odds with most of the people I talk to, as a free-market libertarian, who's only nationalistic to the extent that other countries don't respect the rights of the individual or their neighbors, and as a slightly better alternative to globalism. I think globalism will arise naturally, if the world DE-centralizes. With the Internet, Dikembe and José are next-door neighbors. But there's always some bastard who wants to run EVERYthing top-down. Or just wants MORE. And it never ends until there is no more 'more,' OR until people evolve beyond the stuffed shirts.
