  1. Dems tried to lump Green New Deal and Grievance Studies into the bill, seeing this as a golden opportunity to ram MORE shite down our throats. Unbelievable how close we came to this actually becoming reality. The only thing that saved us was the 2016 election, and the fact that the Senate didn't flip Democrat in 2018. Imagine Schumer being the Majority Leader in the Senate! I'm not a huge Mitch McConnell fan, because he's also a career politician, much like Schumer. But he's at least less bad. But goodness, what would this be like if Hillary were president?
