Shawn Yes. The Maginot Line was fine, as far as they took it. But hey. Let me finish watching the video. The Blitz went through Belgium quicker than anyone but the Germans thought it would, but the French still had enough time to rally better than they did. I think that's also true, going into the video. To their credit and detriment, French Democracy eschewed defense spending and turned inward, while the Germans turned a jealous eye outward and went on a military spending binge.
