  1.  @stevenpederson1645  Actually, no. He doesn't have to listen to her wrong opinions (or right opinions). He's there to cite her for breaking the law. I don't care if she wants to share her grandmother's lasagna recipe, or vast legal experience. I've seen a bunch of these traffic stops, where the cop shows infinite patience, and all I can think is "That's great, but that officer has a lot more important things to do on the taxpayer's dime than listen to her flappin' gums."

  4.  @WilfriedAnonymo  ... and cheating spouses! And yes. A lot of these exchanges are with people who are used to bullying or bullshitting their way past everybody in their path. Acting upset or offended is one of the main strategies. Well, to paraphrase Ben Shapiro, "The law doesn't care about your feelings."

  6. I believe her when she says she's shaking. I get the shakes when I get pulled over. I think it's a pretty natural reaction. The tears are real, too. But they're tears of frustration at not getting her way or have the officer fall all over himself because of her feelz. Ya gotta understand she's probably living in an echo chamber where everybody drops everything and showers you with attention and sympathy if you act like your feelings are hurt. This sort of behavior pre-dates political correctness. I've gotten the raw end of the deal a number of times because I CONTROLLED my rage while the person I disagreed with threw a tantrum. I was totally in the right, but my calmness and their upset was all it took for them to "win" the dispute, because everybody felt sorry for the other guy.
