  1.  @illuminahde  That "I've been through stuff and therefore I have a right to act up and act out" attitude has been stoked to an inferno in the humanities and it has ignited the same kind of fire throughout academe and the political class. I suppose some are sincere, but most who push the New Religion the hardest are in it for personal power, including but not limited to winning arguments by being more conspicuously offended.
