  3. I'd rather we made Christmas about giving than about receiving. Speaking as an American, I remember being 8 and wishing for presents. Totally the wrong lesson to teach a child. Not a big fan of the whole commercialized Santa Claus thing. The racial angle is BS, but the consumerist angle is also BS.
