The people who live there, who have a stake in what's been built there, have a right to protect what's theirs from looters and arsonists. If there'd been another 50 like Rittenhouse in Kenosha that night, I bet it would've been an uneventful evening. That's what happened in Eastern Washington and Eastern Oregon, when Antifa decided to branch out from Portland and Seattle. Citizens up and down the modest downtown, armed with long guns, standing peacefully. Strategically and stealthily placed piles of bricks went unmolested the night of the march. Peaceful marchers had no problems. Out-of-towners in black-block turned tail and ran.
