  1. Nobody's got a prob with gay characters. But it's not a very interesting character trait, and stupid writers are way too heavy-handed about it. Sexual preference is irrelevant for 99% of what you tune in for. Tuning in just for the sexual orientation of the characters is pathetic. Most people aren't pathetic.

  4. It's less get woke, go broke, than it is desperately trying to get woke BECAUSE they're going broke. Viewership was way down because of market forces and that legacy media are obsolete. Getting woke is a vain attempt to prop up viewership by appealing to a niche that they think is the entire market.
