  1.  @vrtclhykr  When you see Nature sorting out these silly ideas, you might think of that as "God's hand." After all, wouldn't the Creator - if there were one - put natural checks and balances that weighed against stupid stuff? Even if there weren't a Creator, as such, the Nature we see around us does a pretty good job of weeding out stupid stuff. We just think we're separate from Nature, when all creatures are part of Nature. Nature selects against behaviors that are anti-life. Some people equate anti-life with anti-God, and it's not unreasonable to assign to "God" all the uncountable things we can't fully understand, at present. You don't have to anthropomorphize Reality for Reality to exist and exert natural stresses and rewards for smart stuff and punishments for stupid stuff.

  2. Whether you agree with Megyn Kelly about something is beside the point. She and a growing number of others are proving that there's a huge ecosystem for good news people. They don't have the overhead of a big corporation, and they don't need 20 million subscribers to prosper. I think we're seeing a revolution in media democratization. Legacy media are doing everything possible to work with social media companies to stave it off, but while it kind of sucks to have to live through all the crap that legacy institutions are doing in their desperate effort to remain on top of the pile, and how they work hand-in-glove with government institutions, which are ALSO becoming pretty desperate.
