  1. Congress act like it's THEIR money, like THEY are lords and ladies, dispensing their personal wealth. They're NOT. They're spending OUR money, and they're never accountable for how wisely the money is spent or if they actually get results. It's ALL about the virtue signal. And the most "generous" legislators always somehow end up becoming millionaires at the public trough. Nothing "illegal," but hey look! A board membership that pays $1 million/year and all the guy has to do is sit in 2 meetings a year! And it's not just the congresspersons. It's their friends and family. Look at Chelsea Clinton or Hunter Biden. And they're just the tip of the iceberg. It's pay to play and if you don't play, you're either a sucker OR you're "mean" and "selfish." All upside-down.
