Agree, 100%. It's annoying as hell that conservatives support this kind of thing. There should be ZERO federal government intervention in social media platforms. This is America. Let it all hang out. If a platform grows toxic, let the public turn its back. Tik-Tok bans people on the left and the right. It shouldn't do that. But that shouldn't result in legislation. It should result in people with a brain and some discernment abandoning the platform and watching "Libs of Tik-Tok" instead! Great entertainment! I think social media should be a free-for-all, with zero federal regulation. If someone's inciting violence, it's not up to the platform to ban it. It's up to the people who see the incitement contacting law enforcement and prosecuting them under existing law (You know. From before the Internet.). This is America. We let it all hang out and let the people decide. Platforms shouldn't be policing content. Parents should. And it's very easy to do. To protect your children, deny them ALL channels except channels you've vetted, yourself, or have been vetted by people or companies you trust. We shouldn't be wringing our hands about bad stuff on the Internet. We should be shopping for companies that do a better job than others.
