  2. A "good" Republican, by today's standards, is a big-government liberal who still supports free speech and doesn't like war. It's not that big of a leap. Trouble is, we have zero "limited-government" guys in either of the two major parties. We're still a long way from reining-in the federal government, regardless of who is elected. It will just be much worse if the neocon = neoliberal = Democrats maintain their abusive and authoritarian stranglehold on the levers of government.
