  1. It wasn't his family name that got him attention on the so-called "right." It was his policy stances on a number of key wedge issues, like Big Pharma, the War Machine, and Big Food, to name a few. His stance on Israel is still neocon/imperialist, but his stance on Ukraine is pretty solid. Most of the MAGA crowd are NOT big fans of the Kennedy family, including JFK.

  2. Just like Pirot in '92, RFK, Jr was poised to split the Republican vote and hand the decision to the Democrats. I think he would've won more votes from likely Trump voters than from Democrats, because his hands are clean with regard to COVID-19, where neither Republicans nor Democrats seemed to understand or care about the moral and political stakes of the bum's-rush response that basically got EVERYthing wrong. More Republicans than Democrats got it more right, but the Republican Party was too afraid of the Mass Formation Psychosis to take a firm stand for liberty, actual science (not "scientism"), and morality. RFK also gave lip service to free enterprise and limited government, which is highly attractive to many in the so-called middle, who are disgusted with BOTH parties and what they do to maintain their power.
