  3. I think if you come up on someone, get in their face, and don't ALLOW them to back off, but keep on coming, all bets are off. If you HIT someone, all bets are off. There's no such thing as "reasonable" force, when it comes to defending yourself. The other person was unreasonable. You can't expect a person being aggressed-against like that to use "proportional" force or anything else. You let the genie out of the bottle.
