  1. Clicked for the thumbnail. Yes, the USA is an oligarchy masquerading as a democracy. The trick of it is to understand that everything the government says it wants to do for you, today, becomes something bad it can do to you, tomorrow. Don't fall for it. Keep government small and pared down to the absolute bare essentials for preserving the Constitution. If they do only that, then the people will prosper in liberty for long spans of time, without needing to change much of anything in government.
