  1. Just looking at the smoke coming out of your chimney, my thought was that you're smothering your own fire in the firebox. Let it breathe. Don't throw all the logs on until you've got a hot fire going. A tent that size doesn't take a house-heating load of firewood. Wind across your stovepipe should improve its draw, if anything. I doubt the wind was the source of your smoke.
