  1.  @e.t.9868  Getting a GED gives you all you get from a high school diploma, with a lot less time wasted. One of the things people don't factor in is how far ahead you can get if you just start working as a teenager. When your peers are graduating college with a huge debt, you're buying your first house. I don't have a beef with getting a college degree, but you need to have a career path before you take that plunge.

  2. Low-cost private education is where it's at. It's just really hard to break the monopoly.
