  1. You're treated like a traitor at work if you vote Republican, and you work in education. It's an article of faith that must not be violated, and it percolates into the classroom. This phenomenon went on steroids when the Humanities departments hijacked campus governance, inserting themselves into every discipline with total nonsense, and they used their own garbage "peer-reviewed" canon to ram it down everyone's throats.
