  1. I don't know if this alone will bring down YouTube, but just like Disney, the fact that YouTube is starting to squeeze is a sign that they're already hurting. Jack up rates, close down adblockers, etc. I think the move will back-fire, due to all the millions of people who will leave if they have to pay or watch ads. It got big because it was free and could afford to lose money for a long span, throttling the competition, like any Robber Baron.
