  2. Just one more example of the fecklessness in regulation-writing and -enforcement. You were better off before they gave a small number of people the ability to lord it over everybody else. The regulators typically end up doing the bidding of the worst people. You THINK they're protecting you, but all you achieved was putting a bureaucrat in charge, which means whoever's in charge of the bureaucrat can ride roughshod over everyone else. "Soak the rich" helps the rich. "Soak the corporations" helps the corporations.
