  1. It's because their side has to win in the public square every day. Long string of success. Dwindling trust is the consequence. I think the last 20 years is proof enough that the left-establishment media are actually right-establishment, pretending to be liberals. Protecting a supposed "left narrative" that has very little "left" in it. What happened to free speech? Yes. It's a threat to every establishment. And since when is a giant cradle-to-grave bureaucracy a thing of the left? These are old-fashioned reactionaries in liberal masks, dragging us back, step by step, to serfdom. "Own nothing and be happy" is the rallying cry of the worst sort of despots.
