  1.  @mrkv4k  That's odd, because the "better" they get, the worse my user experience is. "Look at our great new features!" I don't want to have to learn a whole new piece of software. I'm an experienced end user. You're stealing time and efficiency from me with all these "improvements." A pox on all their houses. Here's an idea: Make something that lasts.

  2. It's less about complacency than the time already invested learning and mastering the software. Every time I have to move to something new, because they updated or my computer crashed, it pisses me off that the software is clunkier than 3 versions ago. They're stealing my time, and time is the most precious thing in life. I hate them. Life thieves. It's truly evil.

  3. Cars, phones, computers, ... I don't want an expletive-deleted update on my phone. Build it right. Sell it for a fair profit. Then fack off.
