  1. If it's a farm or a ranch setup, it's good therapy for townie kids. Hard work, good food, some of the driving privileges all farm kids have, ... Best thing for city kids. That horse-whisperer guy adopted a bunch of troubled kids and brought them to his ranch. He worked the same magic with them that he worked with horses, just by being an honest rancher, and putting some work they could do in front of them, and inviting them to join in, just like the rancher who took him in when the county took him away from an abusive father. His gym teacher found the whipping and beating marks on him in the locker room one day, and he became a ward of the state, until that rancher took him in. Changed his life and he fostered something like 20 kids, himself. But it'd be just the kind of setup a sicko would warp to his perverted ends, too.
