  2. Ukraine misses its captured troops more than Russia msisses its captured troops. The purpose of the smo is to eliminate the military threat from Ukraine. Re-patriating soldiers is counter-productive. Also, Russian POWs are a burden on Ukraine and a public relations nightmare if they don't take proper care of them. Loss of the Russian soldiers is barely a pinprick to the Russians. Their troop levels are steadily rising. Their stockpiles of ammunition and production levels both exceed that of the combined postindustrial economies of the West. Russia is awash in resources, food, and energy. Very sound, economically. Ukraine will have to fold its tent if u.s. money ever runs out, and it's about to run out. Western economies have been committing slow suicide, at the urgings of a New Religion, that's swept all of Europe and North America. A contagion of madness. We simply don't have the money to push everybody around any more. Biden admin act like it's 1950 or 1980, but we're drowning in debt and have crippled our own industries.
