  1. It was hot in the USA in the 1930s and it cooled from there until the late 1970s. In the mid-1970s, the same people fear-mongering about global warming, now, were fear-mongering about the impending Ice Age. No coincidence, their solutions were pretty much the same: Give the government more power and transfer more wealth to a handful of rich men and the politicians they own.
