  1. We're at a tipping point. I don't think China's sustainable, but I know the American economy's been hollowed-out by China and robber barons in the USA. The difference between China's and USA's unsustainability is that the CCP is utterly ruthless about maintaining top-down control, and if that means millions must die, the CCP's OK with that. The U.S. government would fall if it tried the same thing.

  2. It's not as if China's got a monopoly on sincerity. But in this case, they are quite correct. The Biden administration will say anything and do anything it pleases, and lie to your face the next day, make it seem like you're crazy and not them. Classic psychopath behavior. Same in China.
