  1. Russia gave up all claim to Ukraine based on assurances that NATO would do the same, and never expand East. Then NATO went back on its commitment and expanded Eastward. Nothing Russia asked for was unreasonable. Now they are securing a buffer by force. I can't say that I blame them.
