  2. I hear a lot of slogans from the blonde. The libs didn't like the guy saying "I started from nothing and worked my way up. You can, too." The American Dream is heresy, under Liberal Orthodoxy. I notice the video kept the catcalling in when he said that. But just the fact that I'm sitting watching blacks from both sides saying their piece, and it NOT just be a "Well, he's got pigment, so I already know his opinion" sort of deal. Of COURSE there should be blacks on both sides of the government assistance and control versus limited government and liberty. They're too opposing principles that all thinking people know must be properly balanced. Some provision for the destitute should be made by the whole for the individual, but politicians shouldn't win re-election by being the ones who make the most outrageous promises out of the pockets of taxpayers, either. And we shouldn't allow politicians to ham-handedly solve every problem associated with the human condition. Folks mainly need to just frickin' cope and be kind to one another. Period. We lose sight of that with everybody arguing over how to use government power, wealth and FORCE to fix everything. We all have to learn to tie our own shoes.

  4. I learned on an old Farmall. The first big obstacle was being too small to push the clutch all the way down with only my (tiny) body weight. The stiffness of that clutch was what decided when you were big enough.
