You're stretching a point on the $6.2 billion. It's more about valuations of equipment already sent, which they originally - and quite properly - valued at replacement costs. To squeeze more billions in death-dealing, they revised the value of aid already sent at their original costs. Replacement costs are significantly higher. They were and are going to play accounting games to squeeze more blood out of everyone but themselves. These expenditures enrich the people calling the shots at the top. It's disgusting.

@anonanon7235 If USA loses, it gives its leaders more excuse to become more authoritarian. If USA wins, they won't need excuses to become more authoritarian. Things will continue to get worse in the USA until the authorities inflicting the harm bring themselves down by their own overreach. They will not change. They will do the same things the same way, until they haven't the wherewithal to impose their will any longer. A finger in every pie and a left hand that doesn't know what the right hand is doing.
