  1. It doesn't sound like she didn't read it but that she's pushing back against what Peterson's saying about female attraction to men. Sure, they'll partner "up" for status and to feed her babies, but she's still lusting after the gardener who looks just like Brad Pitt, without a doubt, and if she thinks she can get away with it, or has the opportunity, she'll add some kids who happen to look a lot like Brad Pitt to her brood. Maybe the circumstances have changed, but there was no instant change in human biology in response. Evolutionary biology is tracking changes over broad sweeps of time, and if she believes in Darwin, then she needs to understand we're still essentially bred as nomadic hunter-gatherers. No matter how much this arrogant woman (See her toss her head and smirk?) wants to deny it, babies are still made the same way they always have been.
