@mrphilbert1 Sounds like YOU don't know what communism or fascism are.

@establishment1188 It's times like these when liberals' scorn and contempt for the average human being really comes to the fore. They want big government, because they think it will MAKE stupid people do the right thing. All it does is make more stupid people!
12
Yup. Saw it coming.
12
Don't you love when so-called liberals show their authoritarian inner selves?
11
Make them fire you, and threaten to sue them.

He's still gonna bail all these broke cities out. And it's gonna come out of everybody else's pocket. Their mismanagement should not be my responsibility. And if they make it my responsibility, I want CONDITIONS MET. Clearly none will be, and the madness will continue, because it WORKS.
9
@AngelWings-r4v None of the statistics are very solid. COVID-19 cases are over-reported. Vaccine reactions are under-reported. Vaccinated hospitalizations are under-reported. But yes. Experienced clinicians with access to now-suppressed drugs like HCQ and Ivermectin, were reporting 99.9% survival and over 90% without any long-term side-effects. When those doctors sought to share their results, they were deplatformed and outright censored. If you're relying on network television for your "facts," understand that Big Pharma is their biggest advertiser and they don't say anything to upset their advertisers. Big Pharma is also the biggest single funder of the FDA. You're not getting your facts or recommendations from objective scientists and physicians. You're getting your facts approved by the billionaire class and donor class.

@alan4sure There are vaxxed mouthy morons everywhere. Turns out society and businesses don't want them around. Still they whine.
8
@skinsfan9479 I'd rather have a good doctor who knows how to treat it when it's caught early, and then have natural antibodies against it than rely on an experimental drug whose long-term effects on humans are unknown and unknowable for years to come. They thought Agent Orange saved lives. Until years later.
6
Their leadership describe themselves as "trained Marxists."
5
Scientism, not science.
5
@Lucklesswalnut Yes. The encirclement is almost complete. I mourn the loss of America.
4
Yes. Very simple. Except there are so many self-righteous and ill-informed witch-burners about these days. They've always been there, just waiting for the right trigger to come out in full force.
4
Decent hardworking Seattle residents need to think before they vote, because they got exactly what they voted for, and now suffer buyer's remorse. This is what happens when you vote for progressive activists.
3
@maxdefault1517 This ain't the polio vaccine we're talking about, here. Apples and oranges. Just because you don't know the facts doesn't mean you're smarter and more principled than everyone else.
3
@79jrnygrl YOU're the delta-variant superspreader BECAUSE you took the vax!
3
@email4664 We all know who the violent dickheads are, who can't tolerate others assembling peacefully.
2
@PDogB Except it's the Antifa who've been instigating violence for YEARS. For THEM, holding a prayer meeting is justification for throwing bricks, bottles, IEDs, and pepper-spraying crowds. Anyone who's been paying attention the last 10 years or so knows this. It's domestic terrorism with the implicit - and sometimes explicit - support by vested city, state and federal authorities.
2
@79jrnygrl OK, Karen.
2
She's probably taking a lot of heat from the rank and file.
2
@noahholmes4219 : LOL, yourself. The people protesting to GO BACK TO WORK were peaceful. These leftwing knuckleheads are violent and destroy private and public property.
2
Next thing you know, they'll be segregating the schools. Oh wait. They're already doing that in Atlanta!
2
Now she has blood on her hands.
2
Blue cities are a national joke and a national embarrassment. And they'll turn right around and re-elect the same malevolent idiots that got them to this point. I say let 'em choke on their own BS.
1
Corrupt, incompetent city government. Top to bottom, afaic.
1
If your employer is coerced by the government and then coerces you, aren't you being coerced by the government?
1
Are Democrat politicians learning that decisions have consequences, yet?
1
@DP-eo5xd Seat belt laws are stupid. If people want to take risks, they should be able to. Oh, but wait. People like you want health care to be a commons, so that means that if they get hurt it costs everybody and not just themselves. Funny how the more you do FOR people, the more control you have OVER people. That may be your idea of a better world. It's not mine. People should be free to make their own decisions and pay the consequences of those decisions, be it abusing drugs or borrowing $100,000 for a degree in gender studies.
1
@DP-eo5xd Meanwhile, as a vaccinated person, you will be a delta-variant superspreader.
1
Having a smoke calms me down when I'm about ready to punch someone. I'm doing my bit to reduce violence.
1
Feds need to not bail them out. Let them stew in their own rancid juices in all the blue cities, until they get rid of their horrible leaders.
1
Unless the employer is a baker, in which case they have no rights.
1
The pro-life crowd would argue that the baby has a life, too. You deny this.
1
These protests are more about the leisure class and conspicuous consumption. Look at all the over-dressed and over-fed with their thousand-dollar toys complaining about oppression.
1
The original Inquisitions were run by Catholic priests. This is the same sort of thing. Just being run by different fanatics and power-seekers.
1
@Randolph Scott : Only the blue cities are run like Evergreen College.
1
@Randolph Scott : All we have to do is cut them off from assistance. They'll clean up their act right quick.
1
I'm glad they figured it out and didn't go to war with the crows.
1
You'll have to spit the federal nipple out of your mouth if you want to be free. Is it worth missing a semester of college? I went through the whole college thing and I missed a semester here and there. I didn't go to the high-dollar school. I muddled through, paying my way, best I could, without asking anything from anybody. I had to sit out a semester here and there, and just work. It wasn't ideal. But I was My Own Man the whole time.
1
Last I checked, the only one with full approval is the one in Germany that isn't even available in the USA.
1
Don't be confused. Just ask yourself what a very stupid, destructive person would do, and then it all makes sense.
1
@karlypearl9701 I have no idea what your point is. No offense. Heh.
1
Failed city government.
1
They're free to lie all they want and we're free to call them out for it.
1
We're headed towards balkanization. I'll take my chances with the clear-headed people who are skeptical about the vaccine and recognize the machinations.
1
@charlesritter6640 Yes. False equivalence. And now that polio's been wiped out, the need to vaccinate is no more. If it ever crops up again , then bring the vaccine back.
1
@chucknorris3752 Any powers not granted to the government are not held by the government. We don't elect governors or presidents to be dictators. They are bound to follow the law. And if your mandates make so much sense, then pass a law. If you can't pass a law or handle open debate on the floor of the legislature, then you're off-base and authoritarian.
1
@shariwelch8760 Fudging data is not good science. Did you drop out of school or something?
1
Yes. Unless they're to the right of Joseph Stalin.
1
Smoking indoors has been a cultural problem for a century. I'm glad they cleaned that up. Smoking outdoors is your own decision. Flipping butts on the ground should be an infraction they enforce more aggressively than they do
