  1. It's because most good people aren't interested in politics that the greedy people and the stupid people got together and made politics the most important thing. What the federal government does should be mostly irrelevant to our lives. But that'd assume that it stayed in its lane and respected the spirit and the letter of the U.S. Constitution and Declaration of Independence, both of which inimical forces in and out of government have been trying to dilute and circumvent before the ink was dry on the Constitution. We have a great country, if we can keep it. That's always been the big "if" for America.

  3. Coffee made exactly the way I like it costs me maybe 20 cents a cup to make for myself. I make a great big one to take with me in a stainless steel cup. I can't imagine paying more than that for a 2nd-rate cup of coffee in a disposable cup, like all the Democrat voters I see doing every morning, before lecturing me about electric vehicles taking over.
