@Btobebone Maybe you've never driven 700 miles in one day! At 70 mph, that's 10 hours. Maybe it was all Interstate and you push it to 80 most of the way, that's in the neighborhood of 2 tanks of gas. Imagine being worked-up enough to even try it, and how worked-up you'd have to be to still want to do ANYthing at the end of a 700-mile day! I'm sure he was on adrenaline as he drew near to his destination. He was probably shaking like a leaf when he did it, and then not being able to make it more than a mile before the inevitable let-down. The dude basically ran a marathon!

@Btobebone But yeah. He had no thought for what came after the deed, or maybe he just didn't take into account how utterly exhausted he was going to be, afterward. FAIK, that was the longest trip he ever took in his life! He was totally focused on the execution of the deed.
