@GSPfan2112 Taxes. And regulations that make it harder and harder to do business. When you realize that the regulations are controlled by the big companies, then you realize that regulatiions are an illusion. However did we even live before those regulations? We evolved. Best practices. People did things better and better because it was in their business interest to do things (and treat their customers) better and better. Things just "invisibly" got better, because there wasn't a politician who could get up, give a speech, and say "I MADE THIS BETTER FOR YOU." Always something to point at as being good, but never point to the good people he put out of business or how much harder it got for everybody to make ends meet. Those effects are greater, but they're spread out in small ways over ALL the people, so they generally get swept under the carpet. But they all add up.
