Consider that censorship and silencing are regressive, dragging us back to a less enlightened past, and you realize the liberal left is actually regressive right. The behavior of the so-called liberal establishment is far less tolerant of dissent than the so-called conservatives from whom they wrested control of establishment institutions and WEAPONIZED them.
