  1. What is right? What is left? The ORIGINAL liberal left questioned authority and sought LESS government. The old right wanted us all to be serfs and follow what authorities say no matter what. The original right said "We (aristocrats) are the only ones who care and are competent enough to protect you. All they wanted was absolute obedience and absolute power. That's EXACTLY where the so-called "left" of today is. The so-called "left" are now the establishment, and they wield their power more blatantly than the old-fashioned right ever did. The old right had to admit free speech was a thing, and that's how the left overtook them. Now the left is in power and has zero regard for free speech. I don't think of myself as "right," even though the establishment classifies me so. I want liberty and limited government. I think you have a right to do anything that doesn't do harm to anyone else. Ask yourself "Who are today's (would-be) aristocrats?" I think it's the career politicians and career public officials. The airs they put on are no different from those of aristocrats of the past. Their self-entitlement and insecurity masquerade as noble goals and virtue. They're no different from any other oligarchs of the past. Forget the labels right and left. Take a step back and see the broad sweep of human history. The vast majority of us want to raise our children and offer them a better future. That's progress. The wars? That's just bickering between aristocrats, with us as proxies.

  2. You seem to get it, Amir. I think more people think like us. We need a 3rd party. Demublicans and Republicrats want us arguing.
