  1. He DOES talk fast! Great mind. Right around 10:50, he reminds us of history. Government-imposed minimum wage laws deprived hundreds of thousands of their jobs. Leftists see themselves throwing a rope to people below them. Conservatives want to make sure there's always a ladder for people to climb. Pulling people up is not self-sustaining. Only the most helpless and weak need that, and provision has always been made, with the government being the "You are absolutely friendless" last and worst resort, and a healthy and vibrant system of volunteer charity organizations, built on families and based in community. The left want it built on career technocrats, who profit on misery, and they're based in Washington.
