If I were like you, then I'd just say "That's hate speech. You hate the USA." But that's not how I roll. There are things I like about Trump and things I don't like, and don't hold back on either one.

  5. If the protester believes Israel's committing genocide, then they're making a comparison. He might be saying he believes Israel is behaving like Nazi Germany. And there are parallels. We despise the Nazis for their treatment of what they believed to be an inferior race. How is that different from Israel creating what looks a lot like an ethno-state that grants different rights based on ethnicity? That differs from the Nazis only in degree, but it's the same thing. That's not antisemitism. It's disagreeing with Israeli policy.

  8.  @revacohen  I never said anything remotely like what you accuse me of. You paint with a very wide brush. "People like you," you say. I discount atrocities on both sides, because I understand the position both sides in Palestine are in. It's the fact that they're in that position, largely due to foreign intervention, that is at the root of the current hostilities. Does Israel concern herself with ethnic tensions in Peru? Of course not. It's none of their business. Same with the USA with respect to the Middle East.

  11. Common sense is not a part of this conversation! These fools are acting like they have a cure for the common cold, and of course, their "vaccine" fails against the first variant it encounters. Corona viruses mutate all the time and you can't vaccinate against them. The COVID response is nothing but destruction. They couldn't get it more wrong if that was their intention. It almost takes a conspiracy theorist to claim it's NOT on purpose, at this point.

  13. Iran is what we conditioned Iran to be. Maybe, just maybe, we're not the good guys in all these conflicts. I don't blame Israel for how it behaves or Iran for how it behaves. I do blame foreign powers who've felt they could re-draw the map of the Middle East at will, as if it were their right to do so, and preside over forever war from that point onward, as if it's right and natural. It's not. It's most unnatural, and people around the world suffer as a result, but especially the people in the Middle East. Don't like how these countries are run? Ask yourself what the West had to do with that.

  15.  @preciadocr1ss  LOL! I don't attack Israel consistently and obsessively. I barely post to Zionist-project websites. I think Jewish people are a real asset to any society. I just don't think the way Israel was created, via terrorism and external force was the right way, and I think it exposed the region and the USA to forever war. An endless money pit. An endless bloodbath. An excuse to run an apartheid regime with 2-tiered justice. Right or wrong, that's what we're looking at, which kind of makes it wrong. I don't see how Israel can behave in any other way, if it wants to preserve an ethno-state. I'm not made at Israel. I just see it becoming more and more like what it claims to hate, in order to fight what it hates. Maybe Trump will still the waters. I don't know. I don't know what the right answer is. What I do question is sending Israel billions upon billions of dollars and piles and piles of weaponry, world without end. This can't continue forever, much as some would like it to. But no. I'm not some blind cheerleader, afraid to offer criticism. That doesn't make me anti-Semitic. It means I'm thinking. To call me an anti-Semite, just for asking questions or doubting the continued funding and military support for Israel is very Zionist of you.

All I see is someone openly critical of the policies and actions of a nation. I criticize my own government's policies all the time. It doesn't mean I hate the USA. It means I want the USA to manage its affairs better. As for Israel, I don't think there's a moral path to its maintenance as a sovereign nation. I think we tried to force it, and I think we never showed any concern for the sovereignty of people living in the region for many generations, or the rights and security concerns of neighboring nations. I think we just set ourselves up for forever-war in the region, to no purpose.

If your answer to speech you don't like is to try and silence the speech, you're not one of the good guys.

Those guerrillas were often quite horrible people, committing atrocities left and right, in the name of liberating their land from occupying forces.
