  3. I think there are applications that make sense, but mainly for individuals wanting to get around town or to town from not too far away. EVs simply can't match the convenience or freedom of movement that you have in a gas-powered vehicle. I don't think any kind of EV is very practical for contractors or tradesmen. Everyday people can't afford more than one vehicle for all needs, and the EV just isn't practical for a major trip or a day with too many errands, especially in winter.
