  2. Christians voted for Trump, because they see the Dems as antithetical to American principles of free speech and personal liberty. These principles follow from the teachings of Jesus, who spoke truth to power. The left is on the wrong side of this. Plenty of agnostics and atheists, like myself, appreciate and hold to those same principles. We are not a cult. We just see the power relationship between the People and the Government are trending far too much in the direction of Government > People. Blaming DJT for everything is ignoring reality. His rise is a rejection of Identity Politics and Fascism in the form of "enlightenment." Cherry-pick the people who support Trump for regressive reasons, if it helps you continue ignoring the regressivism of the modern left, which aren't left at all. In fact, they behave JUST like the people they're pointing fingers at.
