  1. I hope they do get a transcontinental railway going. I just hope my country doesn't sabotage the project, one way or another. I think it could pay for itself. I just hope they don't make themselves beholden or get too cozy with whoever ends up financing it.

  2. I don't trust the Chinese, but if the American government practiced what it preached, South America would be on par with North America. Resource extraction, but for export, not their own use.
