  3. I despise the people running our foreign and national-security policy, now, but Nunes sounds like a neocon on this. What part of "withdrawing from Afghanistan" doesn't he get? Withdrawing doesn't mean we arbitrarily decide to keep air bases in the country for "strategic reasons." I don't like the way the Biden Admin ran the withdrawal, but keeping air bases in-country indefinitely doesn't sound like withdrawal. Nunes is still thinking like a cold warrior, i.e., looking at the world through a 1947 lens.
