  2. The most powerful thing Trump did was achieved in his 1st 2 years in office, with the tax bill. They removed the virtually unlimited federal tax write-offs for rich people in blue states/cities. Big, high-tax cities have been double-dipping for decades, pretending to soak the rich, when they were actually soaking the Heartland. Limiting tax write-offs to $10,000 means the super-rich are having to pay the full cost of state and local taxes, and all of a sudden, big programs that don't do anything except line pockets are finally endangered.
