  2. You'll vote yourself a living, like we Boomers have done since we came of age. No program too expensive. What about me? What about me? We're the "me" generation, and we're too many for the Social Security ponzi scheme to cover us. We were handed unprecedented prosperity, and as we enter retirement, the debt:GDP is 120%. We spent it all and then some. No. There's not going to be any money for our retirements left in government coffers. The whole program is to make those younger than us pay for us, only we didn't make enough young ones. We were too busy finding ourselves. But that won't matter to us Boomers. We'll scream and gnash our teeth until the government comes to our rescue again. Of course, we've chewed up all the money, indulging our whims at taxpayers' expense, and now the bill's coming due. We're slamming the door shut and burning down the house behind us.
