  1. I don't like when our side starts talking "hate crime." If it's a crime, it's a crime. Let the state of mind enter in during the penalty phase, as it always has been in criminal cases. We don't need and we should push back against there even being a "hate crime" category in the statutes. It is enough that what she did was malfeasance and abuse of power.
