One of the things they discovered with early Congreve rockets was to aim them downwind because the tail of the rocket, with its fins, would be disproportionately affected by the wind, so that the unguided rocket would tend to point itself into the wind. I would be more concerned about differential thrust from each of the 4 engines. I imagine assuming that you're getting identical performance from all 4 engines at all times results in all kinds of anomalous results.
