  1. Israel is what we made it. Their people feel the way they do because they've been under unending attacks from their neighbors. Their neighbors constantly attack them because Israel was created by force, is maintained by force, and is a proxy for American and British interests, as well it should, as it is the USA and UK that spearheaded its creation and it's the USA that bankrolls its continued existence. I think the Abraham Accords went a long way towards resolving matters in the region. Whatever mistakes were made in the past... But at root, the USA, in particular, is trapped in a sunk-cost fallacy dating back to WW II, feeling obligated to double-down on its bad decision of creating an ethno-state in response to defeating the madman who wanted Germany to be an ethno-state.
