The whole NIMBY approach is to push industries where there are no environmental standards, destroying their economies and polluting the planet more.

  10. Speaking as an American: Count the silverware after any of these clowns leave. USA is committing suicide before our eyes. The people in power in the USA have been bullying the planet for 70 years, including their own people. It's reminiscent of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. A bunch of rich, powerful people saying "Let them eat cake" and "You will own nothing and you will be happy." That's because they want to own and control everything and that's not how this world works.

  14. Trump told them that NATO was a waste of U.S, taxpayers' money if Europe insisted on making itself dependent on the Russians for crucial commodities. Having made themselves dependent, they were fools to antagonize Russia. But this was how the U.S. Deep State wanted things. They scoffed at Trump and attacked him for his common sense, and now the whole world is paying the price of their willfulness, arrogance, and outright stupidity. I was raised on the history of World War II and how GREAT it was that the USA didn't swoop in and take over the world in 1945. But behind our backs, that's just what the political class has done: Built an empire they hide from their own people. The leverage they use isn't always out in the open. But the farther we drift into their madness and greed, the more things keep falling apart. Hegemony of the U.S. dollar is now in peril, if not already a thing of the past. As an American, who actually BELIEVES in the American ideal of limited government, free markets, and individual liberty, my entire adult life has been witness to the USA's total abandonment of those principles. It's gonna suck for EVERYbody for a while, but these "Play the world like your private chessboard" nitwits need to be removed from power. Meddling in everyone's affairs doesn't secure liberty or prosperity, and the two go hand in hand. America has lost its way. Its PEOPLE haven't. But its leaders have.

  17. I think this is more about top government officials in the USA trying to keep their hands in oligarch pockets while at the same time hiding the fact that this is what they are doing. The 2nd impeachment of Trump was ALL about keeping their gravy train rolling while diverting attention from the fact that they are riding that gravy train. Hunter Biden isn't the only scion of a politically connected family of Washington insiders awarded a high-paid sinecure working for Ukrainian oligarchs. Pelosi, Romney, and others are also deeply involved in various pay-to-play schemes. They had to shut Trump down when he started asking common-sense questions. I don't think they care how many millions of people they harm or murder, if they can remain in power and keep the money rolling in, or at least avoid prosecution after the money stops coming in. Right now, there's a huge new source of cream for these wicked individuals to siphon off the top: military aid that nobody's really tracking. These weapons are going to pop up all over the world, after they're sold off the books to the highest bidder.

  18. "Foreign Aid" is when the elites of one country tax the working people to give money to elites of another country. In the main, it is used to prop up incompetent and corrupt politicians in both countries.
