  1. But liberals want the state to administer and pay for health care. That gives the state all the excuse it needs to control what you put in your body, acting on behalf of the taxpayer. I'm all for legalizing drugs and holding people strictly accountable for their behavior. If they steal or commit acts of violence against others, no tolerance for that. But I don't want to pay for the health consequences of a coke or heroin addict's bad choices. I feel the same way about the morbidly obese. Eat all you want, all you crave. But don't expect me to foot the bill for your diabetes. The farther down this so-called "liberal" road we go, the closer we come to the government telling us we can't have sugar, fat, or even meat in our diet. It will be "liberals" leading the culture wars against fat people. Just wait. It's coming.
